Inside Miles to Money

The answers an owner-operator needs, on one phone screen.

MY COST

Your real cost per mile, every dollar counted.

Most drivers divide the load pay by the miles. The sheet adds what that hides: bills that come when the truck sits, money for repairs and your next truck, your own pay and some safety money.

  • Lowest rate per loaded mile, with your empty miles counted
  • What the truck needs to bring in each week and month
MY COST · example dry van
  • Bills (truck, insurance, plates)$0.62
  • Fuel, DEF and tolls$1.04
  • Money to save$0.40
  • Your pay and safety money$0.78
  • True cost of one mile$2.84
Lowest rate per loaded mile$3.34

LOAD LOG + DASHBOARD

Your week, your month, and who still owes you.

Add one line per load. The dashboard shows money left after costs, your best and worst loads, what brokers still owe you and how many weeks your cash would last.

  • Pay date and days late for every load
  • Last 6 months side by side

FUEL CHECK

Diesel went up. What rate do you need now?

One table shows the rate you need at every fuel price, and a check tells you if your fuel surcharge really pays for your fuel. Empty miles burn fuel too.

  • Works for diesel, gas, natural gas or electric
  • No taxes and no IFTA, on purpose
